The Black Forest Team Guiding Your Child's Education
Anthony Harper
Director
Anthony Harper has served as Director of Black Forest Montessori since its founding in 2021. A United States Marine Corps veteran with a B.A. in Psychology and an MBA, he oversees enrollment, operations, and the financial stewardship that keeps the school well planned and thought out. He is married to Mrs. Acsa and is the father of two children, an experience that shapes how closely he holds the school to the standard he would want for his own family.
Acsa Harper
Lead Montessori Teacher
Mrs. Acsa (pronounced Axe-Sah) has taught and cared for young children for more than twenty years, including fifteen as a preschool teacher. She holds a Montessori certification, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, an Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care (EQIT) certification, and a TESOL certification, and has completed the full course of Colorado's required pre-licensing training. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, she leads the daily Spanish immersion woven through the classroom.
Chiqui
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Chiqui (pronounced Cheeky) grew up caring for younger siblings and cousins before earning an Associate of Arts degree through Colorado Springs Early Colleges. That early experience carries directly into the classroom, along with the patience to meet each child's particular personality on its own terms.
Paulina
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Paulina's experience with children began with babysitting and has grown into a genuine commitment to early childhood work. She is drawn to how naturally curious and willing to learn young children are, and she brings that same curiosity to her own ongoing training.
Join Our Waitlist for Black Forest Montessori
